anglesey abbey - winter gardens

Anglesey Abbey is one of my favourite National Trust gardens. We have visited many times before, and I always seem to find something new and interesting to explore or photograph each time we visit.

In deep winter, the garden tones are muted and soft. At the end of the gardens is a wonderful grove of Himalayan silver birch trees… so very striking at any time of year.

  1. Those silver birch trees are amazing Charmaine, and made even more lovely by your clever photography! I like the first picture too, it almost looks as though it is in black and white. xx
