one last camping trip

A couple of weekends ago we decided to take advantage of the late summer sunshine, heading down to Dorset to our favourite campsite.

The campsite is small and peaceful, with limited facilities and gorgeous views across the rolling Dorset hills towards Corfe Castle. It is such a lovely place to while away a slow weekend.

During the day we visited our usual haunts, Studland beach and Lulworth Cove, both incredibly busy for this time of year.

Though I love soaking up the sun, early evening at the campsite is my favourite time of day. As the sky becomes hazy with the sunset and the long grasses turn golden, we wrap up and sit beside the campfire.

  1. Looks like a lovely time Charmaine, and time to start wearing snuggly boots again - that has to be a good thing!!
