nature in the home: found bluebells

In front of our home is a little gravel patch, with a couple of ramshackle bushes and a handful of green leaves. I had wrongly assumed the leaves were weeds, but it turns out they are bluebells which have started to flower... what a lovely surprise to find such pretty flowers growing on our doorstep!

  1. What beautiful photos. You've captured that shade of purple-blue so well. I love bluebells and sometimes get a few in the garden which is nice as I can pick them! x

    1. Yes, they did wilt after a few days, but actually a quick refresh of water seems to have sorted them out! x

  3. So pretty.

(I must say, I'm getting every so slightly envious of all the bluebells that are popping up in the Northern Hemisphere!)
