On Saturday we went to Wimpole Estate, near Cambridge. We only had a couple of hours so after lunch, we just wandered around the estate. If you haven't been before, the hall is beautiful, with a drawing room designed by John Soane, and there's also a farm on the estate too.
The light was low and cast lovely shadows over the grounds and sculptures.
In the walled garden, I found some ladybirds sheltering under flower heads and some apples growing in the orchard.
We also visited Wimpole in April, that post is here, with some photos of the Hall.
